Postgraduate & Alumni Programs (New program focused on CAREERS IN PUBLIC SERVICE)
Staff advisors help guide students in public service career exploration, connect them with active alumni in public service, and offer informative programming. In addition, staff collaborates with the Career Development Center and the national Partnership for Public Service to encourage careers in government service on the local, state, national and international levels. John Gardner Public Service Fellowship
Provides 3 Stanford students with the opportunity to work with a senior figure in a government office, non-profit organization, or foundation.

Stipend: $27,500. Duration: 10 months, fulltime work.
Placements: with a mentor and organization in the U.S. related to the fellows’ interests and experiences.
Eligibility: graduating seniors and co-terms.

Tom Ford Fellowship in Philanthropy
Awarded to 3 students each year who want to explore philanthropic work as a possible career path.

Stipend: $30,000.
Duration: 11 months, fulltime work.
Placements: a U.S. foundation related to the fellows’ interests and experiences.
Eligibility: graduating seniors and co-terms.

Dr. & Mrs. C.J. Huang Teaching Fellowship
Jointly administered with VIA (Volunteers in Asia), this fellowship provides the opportunity for students to teach English in a rural setting in China. Two fellows receive training and field support with VIA volunteers.

Stipend: airfare, health insurance, travel to VIA annual China conference, living expenses, and $1,000 towards a local school/community service project. 
Duration: 1 or 2 years.
Placement: Ouyang Yu Middle School in Hunan Province.
Eligibility: graduating seniors, co-terms, or graduate students; recent graduates may also apply.
