Undergraduate Summer Fellowships
To find out about previous Haas summer fellows and what they have said about their fellowship experiences, read Reflections from the Fellows.
Undergraduate summer fellowships aim to demonstrate to Stanford students that they, as individuals, can help formulate solutions to real world problems in ways that make a positive difference in people's lives. As fellows, students expand on classroom learning and apply this knowledge to practical, real world situations. Summer fellows can participate in either pre-designed or self-proposed fellowship opportunities in both domestic and international settings. Fellows are given funding to support 9-10 weeks of full-time work with a non-profit organization, government agency, or foundation. For detailed information about individual fellowships, use the Fellowship Links List or the Quick Guide to Fellowships.
DURATION: Summer fellows are expected to work 9 consecutive weeks during the summer. Education and Youth Development Fellows work 6 weeks. Please note: 2008 Application links are currently posted on the websites for the individual fellowships listed below.

Financial aid is available to students who qualify. Education and Youth Development Fellows receive $2,250 stipends, plus room/board during the program (equivalent to $2,000).
