Education and Youth Development Summer Fellowship - Staff enrichment programs focused on the academic and social needs of underserved middle and high school youth. Upward Bound (UB) or East Palo Alto Stanford Academy (EPASA) Stanford University campus Up to 12 recipients
Philanthropy Fellowship - Work intensively in the field of philanthropy. Recipients placed in a foundation based on their interests and experiences Bay Area Up to 8 recipients
Public Interest Law Fellowship - Intern with a public interest law organization. Applicants arrange and propose placements U.S. 2 - 3 recipients
Spirituality, Service & Social Change Fellowship - Explore the connections between spirituality and social change through direct service and policy placements. Recipients placed in faith-based nonprofits related to their interests and experience Bay Area Up to 5 recipients
Stanford in Government - Gain exposure to public policy process through summer internships. For complete program description & applications visit: http://sig.stanford.edu. Pre-arranged internships Bay Area, Sacramento, Washington DC, or International 25-30 recipients; freshmen, sophomores, and juniors only
Stanford Pride Fellowship -
Promote advocacy in LGBT communities.
Applicants arrange and propose placements U.S. or International 1-2 recipients
Urban Summer Fellowship - Work with organizations addressing urban issues (e.g. architecture, community organizing, urban planning, education). Applicants arrange and propose placements U.S. Urban areas: 3 pre-arranged placements: Bay Area, San Diego, Cambodia Up to 8 recipients
Summer Project Opportunities

Haas Summer Fellowship - Develop and implement service projects that address community needs.
Daher Memorial Fellowship
- Focus project on intersections of business and economics with public service.
Original project proposed and arranged by applicant in collaboration with a community partner U.S. or International Up to 20 recipients; Round I deadline: Feb. 6, 2008 for continuing undergrads; Round II deadline: April 9, 2008 for graduating seniors, co-terms
Year-Long Project Opportunities

East Palo Alto Social Venture Fellowship - Offers $10,000 to implement a sustainable project that addresses economic, environmental, educational, and/or social needs in East Palo Alto during senior year. Original project in collaboration with a nonprofit or government organization East Palo Alto/East Bayshore 1 - 2 recipients; current juniors only; deadline: April 9, 2008
Donald A. Strauss Scholarship - Offers $10,000 to fund a service project proposed by the student with remaining dollars applicable toward tuition, fees, books, room and board. Project proposed and arranged by applicant to be completed by end of senior year U.S. or International 1 recipient from Stanford; current juniors only; deadline: January 31, 2008
Andrea Naomi Leiderman Fellowship is designed to support a student conducting research on a topic relating to the education of children and youth, particularly in local, under-served communities of Northern California. Research project California; Northern California preferred October 19, 2007
