MICHAEL MCDANIELS ’08 (Mechanical Engineering) Public Service Leadership Fellows, Pioneers, Society of Black Scientists and Engineers:“Community Service is never just a gift from the more fortunate to the less fortunate. It is a mutual exchange that, when done correctly, leaves both parties closer to each other and the world around them. This connection fuels my passion for service.”
KRISTEN BAUTISTA ’09 (Mathematics) Upward Bound/Saturday Academy director, Music4All (student organization):
"I enjoy teaching with Upward Bound, because I can do what I love while being inspired by the amazing high school students we work with. The staff makes my experience even better by helping me learn about service, develop leadership skills, and discover great opportunities."
