Stanford students are creative and talented, and will inevitably be in positions of leadership or in positions where they can exercise leadership if they have the will and the confidence. We believe students should leave Stanford as well-equipped as possible to step up to formal and informal leadership roles for the public good throughout their lives.

Our goal in all leadership efforts is to develop thoughtful, skilled and reflective practitioners equipped to effect social change. This has an immediate benefit to the service being done on campus, while holding great promise for the impact Stanford graduates will have in the communities they will live among after leaving campus. The Haas Center offers several options to students wanting to grow as leaders.
