A NOTE ABOUT FELLOWSHIPS PROGRAM SELECTION COMMITTEES
Thanks to members of the Haas Center's 2008 Fellowships Program Selection Committees, who generously donated their time, energy and expertise to an important service experience for Stanford students.

Undergraduate summer fellowships and postgraduate fellowships offer support for Stanford students who wish to make contributions to public service organizations and communities. Summer fellows can participate in either pre-arranged placements or self-designed fellowship opportunities in both domestic and international settings.

This is a service-learning program, in which students apply classroom knowledge in a professional setting. Fellowships Program staff offer a two-unit field preparatory course, workshops, and individual consultations to prepare students for their summer work. Upon their return, students meet with staff to debrief, reflect on their experiences, and consider follow-up activities and coursework.
