Americans for Prosperity Foundation (AFPF) Internship Program
Americans for Prosperity Foundation's (AFPF) internship program offers interns the opportunity to work in a national grassroots organization. Internships are available to college juniors and seniors, graduate students, and recent graduates. A monthly stipend is provided.
Potential interns should have a commitment to the principles of AFPF's organization – specifically, a firm commitment to advancing every individual's right to economic freedom and opportunity through free markets. AFPF believes reducing the size and scope of government is the best safeguard to ensuring individual productivity and prosperity for all Americans. AFPF educates and engages citizens in support of restraining state and federal government growth, and advocates returning government to its constitutional limits.
Internships are available in the areas of public policy, communications, membership, marketing, and development. Intern responsibilities may include such activities as analyzing and tracking state and federal legislation, researching state spending, researching state political environments, writing opinion editorials, researching state initiative and referendum processes, developing databases, and developing action plans for AFPF grassroots members. AFPF interns may also assist in developing issue campaign strategies, mobilization techniques, and event planning and execution.
