Association of Teachers of Preventive Medicine and Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (ATPM-ODPHP) Health Policy Fellowship Program

The Association for Prevention Teaching and Research (APTR) with support from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (ODPHP), offers Health Policy Fellowships to eligible individual in the public health field.

The selected Fellow will have training in health promotion, prevention, and health communication policy at the national level while contributing to ODPHP's activities.

Duration: 6 months - 1 year

Focus Area: Government / Policy / Politics, Health

Open to: Recent graduates

Location: U.S. Midwest

Notes: * Applicant must be either a U.S. Citizen, non-citizen national, or foreign national possessing a visa permitting permanent residence in the U.S. (Alien Registration or "Green Card"). Student visas and temporary work visas do not qualify.

* Applicant must have a degree (graduate degree preferred) in communication, informatics, or a related field and at least one year of work experience by the beginning of the fellowship. Mid-career professionals in transition from other fields are welcome to apply.

* If awarded the fellowship, the applicant must be an Individual Member of APTR.
